The Facilities
Our Facilities are set in the picturesque Mary Valley region with some of south east Queensland's most idyllic training grounds.
The district is home for the Far-A-Way Easter endurance carnival.
The property borders one of the main entrances to the Imbil State Forestry, making it the perfect grounds for the breeding and training of today's elite endurance horses.
The property itself is set over 80 acres of beautiful river flats and undulating improved pastures. All paddocks are fenced with horse safety in mind as well as being maintained to the highest of standards.
We have all weather shelters and self watering supply is connected to each individual paddock.
Our stable complex is constructed to the highest of industry standards with animal welfare and safety being paramount. Our stable boxes are larger than normal to enable the endurance horse plenty of room to move. This also enables the stables to also be used throughout the breeding season as foaling stables when required.
Included in the stable complex is a huge concrete wash bay complete with constant high pressure water from the Yabba Creek irrigation supply.
A separate tack room and feed rooms are also attached to our stable complex to ensure that the day to day running of the property and training schedule are more efficient.
Our circular driveway accommodates the largest of horse transport vehicles, floats and goosenecks.
In 2010 we had holding yards complete with vet crush and foal handling yards designed and installed ready for the 2011 breeding season.
All of our facilities have been designed and constructed following lengthy and detailed consultation with our team of veterinarians, trainers and farriers to ensure we meet with the highest of safety standards.
